Who is the woman who shaped you?

Maybe you thought of your mother. Maybe your grandmother. Maybe a teacher, a mentor, a sister, a colleague, or someone who simply believed in you at the right moment. We often talk about the people who shaped our careers. But behind every career, every decision, and every version of ourselves, there are stories about people who helped shape who we became.

This Vietnamese Women’s Day, we want to slow down and tell some of those stories. Through LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, you’ll build a model of the woman who shaped you, share her story, and listen to the stories of others. Because sometimes, the easiest way to tell a story is to build it first.

[Mosaic Minds] What does it mean to build an economy that heals rather than harms? And what happens when the drive to create impact is tangled up with generational survival instincts that tell you profit is safety and scarcity is always around the corner?

In this episode, host My Holland sits down with Lê Kim, an environmental economist, systems thinker, and founder of CL2B. From growing up in a working-class family in Nghệ An to becoming a voice for the circular economy across Southeast Asia, Kim’s journey has been anything but linear.

After leaving for the UK at 21 and working long hours to fund her studies, she gradually found a deeper sense of self and a broader perspective on the world.

Today, Kim works at the intersection of circular economy, equity, and systems change, challenging leaders to think beyond sustainability strategies and ask what future they want to leave for the next generation. Her work also brings a Global South perspective to sustainability conversations often shaped by the Global North.

These are visible signs, but the real challenges often lie beneath the surface.
