INTRODUCTION
The causes
In 2001, returning to Vung Tau from Germany, seeing the city painted a color of "earth yellow” (local people here at that time called "color of treasury", meaning the color of the paint on the walls of the State Treasury in the city). When building the own house for his family, he had to abandon the work in HCMC to go hunting around, looking for appropriate construction materials and equipment. Some materials had to be brought from Germany by his relatives. In general, at that time there was market supplying construction materials in Vung Tau city but sanitary equipment, especially materials for interior decoration, landscaping & garden were not much and inadequate. With the desire to compensate, add and give this local area a more complete view on construction materials in general and restored materials – decoration materials in particular; with concern & understanding of an economic expert, of a seeker/custumer of construction materials, Mr. Nguyen, Quoc Hung (at that time he was also a lecturer and expert collaborator of a number of foreign businesses in the field of consumer and was a senior researcher of the Marketing Servey & Research of Vietnam in Ho Chi Minh City), did not hesitate to spend his time & money and efforts to travel all over the country to collect, brought home and formed a whole new market for construction materials & interior and exterior decorative materials, decorative materials landscaping & yard in Vung Tau city – later being a city of Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.
