In the first 4 months of 2026, Vietnam’s total import-export turnover reached USD 344.17 billion, up 24.2% year-on-year, highlighting the country’s growing role in global supply chains.
Vietnam’s export turnover reached USD 168.53 billion, increasing 19.7% compared to the same period last year.
Another key indicator: processed industrial goods reached USD 151.5 billion, accounting for 89.9% of total exports. This reflects how Vietnam’s export growth is increasingly supported by industrial production and higher-value manufacturing activities.
For global buyers, the opportunity is clear. Vietnam is becoming a stronger manufacturing and sourcing base for companies seeking supply chain diversification in Asia.
But turning sourcing opportunities into successful results requires more than simply finding a supplier. It requires local verification, quality control, clear communication, and strong on-the-ground follow-up.
