First Line Sales Manager (OTC/ Pharmacy Channel) - Mekong Delta/ Central (Competitive)
Our client is one of the leading multinational pharmaceutical firms. Due to their our client’s expansion, we assist them in searching candidate to fulfill the position of First Line Sales Manager (OTC/ Pharmacy Channel) in Mekong Delta/ Central
Scope of Work:
Manage 6 – 7 Med Reps
Directly report to Head of Commercial – OTC Division
Will be in charge of South Mekong Delta or Central Area
Work location:
Can Tho/ Da Nang

Job purposes:
To aggressively drive business growth in the specified territory. Flawlessly execute the brand strategies / sales plans in the designated areas through effective team leadership. Achieve / exceed monthly Sales targets. Keep team motivated and engaged to maximize business productivity
Responsibilities:
Accountable for performance of the total allocated team and its individual medical/sales representative, striving to significantly surpass agrees sales and market share targets, team productivity increase (QTQ).
Collaboration with key accounts, marketing/product managers and medical/medical advisers, securing strategy implementation as outlined in the product strategies and operational plans for assigned products in the territory.
Accountable for initiatives that secure sales of assigned products. Effectively allocating target to individual medical/ sales rep of the team, planning, implementing, closely monitoring field forces activities with optimal resource utilization and in compliance with company policy.
Accountable for gathering market/ competitor intelligent information, quick identification of shortfalls and/or opportunities in activities and sales and subsequent remedial actions.
Building and maintaining contacts with relevant key-opinion leaders and decision-makers.
Accountable for recruiting, training & coaching medical/ sales representative of the allocated team. Rapidly acting on non-performers- coaches, counsels, supports, and when needed, disciplines.
Continuous improvement of team selling skills and product knowledge. Building and fostering a team culture that values, recognizes and generates a business orientated, customer focused high performance.
Handling routine administrative duties (call plan & reports, forecasts, monthly reports, expense reports, etc.)
Performs job-related duties as assigned
Requirements:
Education: Tertiary qualifications with Diploma of Pharmacy/ Medicine or Economics/ Business Administration
Experience (Proficiency):
Minimum 2 years experience in sale management.
Ideal candidates with mixed sales experience in between FMCG and Pharmaceuticals/ Consumer Care
Experience in assigned territory
Skills:
Prefer candidates’ age under 35
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Good relationship building, negotiation skills and listening skills
Demonstrated people leadership capabilities
High initiative, drive, mature, good service mind
Working knowledge of MS Office
Proficiency in English is a plus
Willing to travel extensively
