Vivi reached out to us last year for her very first pair of dance shoes, and asked if she could visit us in Hội An all the way from Bali. We were thrilled to craft her Suzie-Qs, and even happier to meet her in person. 💛

A few months later, after the shoes had fully broken in with her happy feet, we met again at VLX, where we had the chance to do a little interview with this lovely friend. ✨

Dũng here again 😅

As I’m having a long holiday weekend, I’m taking this chance to look back to (yes… I’m still not over yet).

The first time I attended VLX was a few years ago. Back then, I was just a friend helping Châu out. I remember being completely amazed by how energetic everyone was (and honestly… a little overwhelmed too). I kept wondering how Lindy Hop could connect people from all over the world so effortlessly.

Fast forward to this year, this is my second VLX as part of the Swing Love team. The feelings are still the same, just busier: the excitement, the preparations, the music… and yes, still a little bit of introvert stress 😂

Here are a few moments that have stayed with me 🫶

📮 A little heads-up from Us

Swing Love will be taking a short break on April 27, and from April 30 to May 3 to celebrate Vietnam’s Reunification Day and Labor Day. We’ll spend this time for family and friends, or perhaps taking a quick getaway. We will be back to work on May 4.
