Vlad was a solo traveler in Hue, and we welcomed him on a cool afternoon with a lot of luggage. Initially, he planned to stay in Hue for 3 days, but then extended his stay, and before he knew it, he was 20 days into his stay! ☺️
He told us he loved the cozy family atmosphere and was happy to offer a good price for a long stay like his.
Vlad especially loves coffee and praised Vietnamese coffee highly. Because he was both traveling and working, he often woke up around noon, brewed his coffee, and took his cup out to the garden to read – almost every lunchtime. Occasionally, amidst busy periods, we’d have the chance to meet guests like Vlad who were relaxing and enjoying themselves, and we knew he loved the small garden with its rustling trees that softened the harsh summer sun.
We will remember him as the first guest who became most attached to the garden among all the guests we’ve welcomed. Thank you so much, Vlad, and I’m grateful to have met so many guests so that our homestay can introduce our little garden to you all 🥰
