QIS GLOBAL | KICK-OFF MEETING – BOILER FAC INSPECTION & ASSESSMENT

Từ năng lực kỹ thuật trong nước đến khả năng đáp ứng các yêu cầu quốc tế – QIS GLOBAL từng bước khẳng định vị thế trong lĩnh vực kiểm tra chuyên sâu và đánh giá tính toàn vẹn thiết bị công nghiệp.

QIS GLOBAL tổ chức Kick-off Meeting (KOM) cho công tác kiểm tra, đánh giá ăn mòn dòng chảy tăng tốc (Flow-Accelerated Corrosion – FAC) tại hệ thống lò hơi (Boiler), đánh dấu bước khởi đầu trong việc thống nhất yêu cầu kỹ thuật, phạm vi công việc và phương án triển khai.

FAC là cơ chế suy giảm vật liệu phức tạp, đòi hỏi kiến thức chuyên sâu về vật liệu, điều kiện vận hành và phương pháp đánh giá kỹ thuật. Việc kiểm tra và đánh giá FAC đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc nhận diện nguy cơ suy giảm chiều dày thành ống, hỗ trợ quản lý tình trạng thiết bị và nâng cao độ tin cậy vận hành.

Trước đây, những hạng mục chuyên sâu như FAC thường cần đến sự tham gia của chuyên gia nước ngoài. From domestic technical expertise to international standards, QIS GLOBAL continues to strengthen its capabilities in advanced inspection and industrial asset integrity.

QIS GLOBAL held a Kick-off Meeting (KOM) for Flow-Accelerated Corrosion (FAC) inspection and assessment of a boiler system, marking the beginning of the project coordination process to align technical requirements, work scope, and ex*****on plans.

FAC is a complex material degradation mechanism that requires specialized knowledge of materials, operating conditions, and engineering assessment methods. Effective FAC inspection and assessment play an important role in identifying potential wall-thickness degradation, supporting equipment condition management, and improving operational reliability.

In the past, specialized inspection activities such as FAC assessment often required the involvement of international experts. Through continuous investment in technical expertise, workforce development, and technology, QIS GLOBAL is progressively strengthening its ability to address complex inspection requirements locally while aligning its capabilities with international technical expectations.

This progress represents more than an expansion of service capabilities. It reflects the growing capacity of Vietnamese engineering teams to take on technically demanding industrial challenges, deliver appropriate solutions, and create greater value for customers in the domestic market.

Alongside its NSRP qualification, QIS NDT has been selected to execute Turnaround activities for LSP (Long Son Petrochemicals) and BSR (Binh Son Refining & Petrochemical) as part of the current-year and next-year plans. These projects require strong capabilities in manpower mobilization, equipment deployment and ex*****on management, with demanding requirements for Safety, Quality, Schedule and Technical Performance.

For Tube Inspection, QIS has the capability to mobilize 15 inspection machines, supporting large-scale inspection scopes and demanding turnaround schedules.

From NSRP – LSP – BSR, QIS NDT continues to strengthen its capabilities in Turnaround, Refinery Inspection and Petrochemical Inspection, while expanding its technical service ecosystem from Conventional NDT → Advanced NDT → Tube Inspection → Engineering Assessment → Asset Integrity.
