Winning is a tradition at Faletuiga Hawai'i. Here's a Faletuiga throwback when our expert tuiga maker Maleko Magallanes dressed his very first Taupou at We Are Samoa in La'ie, Ms. Jacqueline S. Reid.

Ms. Reid, the daughter of John Reid and Marianne Reid, who represented Kapolei High School and Mitamitaga O Samoa ausiva based in Waipahu, won first place in the We Are Samoa Taualuga/Taupou competition.

Sending good vibes to all performers who take the stage this week in the siva afi competiton and the high school festival at We Are Samoa. Alofa tele atu.

Talofa Faletuiga family! We have a question for you today. Did you read your Scriptures today? GOD says that we don't live by bread alone but by every single word that proceedeth out of the mouth of GOD. That said, we have a message for someone named Tsai Tuimaseve, who has been harassing us on The Lonestar Samoan: I do not know you and I do not care to know you or any details of your life. You will leave this page immediately. Take your friends with you. Do not come back! This page belongs to the Almighty GOD. You are not welcome here. Footstool.

Eia hoʻi, ke hāʻawi aku nei au iā ʻoukou i ka mana e hehi ma luna iho o nā nahesa a me nā moʻo huelo ʻawa, a ma luna o ka mana a pau o ka ʻenemi; ʻaʻole loa he mea e ʻeha ai ʻoukou.

Luka 10:19

Faauta, ou te foai ia te outou le p**e e soli ai gata ma akarava ma le malosi uma o le fili; e leai lava se mea e leaga ai outou.

Luka 10:19

Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Luke 10:19

If your job or profession forces you to abandon the Almighty GOD, our Heavenly Father, if it puts you at odds with your faith, your testimony of JESUS CHRIST, it's time to leave that job. Today. I don't want to know your address Tsai Tuimaseve. I don't care who you are. I never asked for your address. I don't want to know about your "post office job." I don't want to know that you are moving from Phoenix, Arizona and coming to San Antonio, Texas on March 8. That means nothing to me. Stay off my pages and stay away from my family. Stay away from my home. Stay out of my messenger. Stay out of my way. The same goes for your friends Tsai Tuimaseve. You and your friends are my collective footstool. Know your place and get thee beneath my feet. Or go straight to the depths of hell and take your friends with you. Lotu 685 family: Pray. Read your Scriptures. Heed the Holy Spirit. Tsai and friends can only move when GOD'S Chosen are not paying attention. When we are distracted. Or sometimes just being too nice.

Pray. Read. Walk. Stay alert.

WAR IS HERE. 📖

VIIA LE ALI'I! Women's History Month kicked off yesterday on March 1.

Faletuiga was founded by a fabulous woman, our favorite woman, our beloved A'o Siva (dance instructor), our dear mother.

She will always be our favorite story. Forever our malu, our Dancing Queen. Thank you Samoa Observer for preserving our mother's memory in your newspaper. E pala le ma'a ae le pala le tala.

Happy Women's History Month, ladies!

I want to take a moment to highlight my sister and I Beloved & Dearest Siva Samoa instructor, Aunty Lika. ⚡️🌺 Back when we were in Oahu, Hawai’i, we danced for 'Mitamitaga o Samoa,' which later changed its name to 'Measina o Samoa' under the direction of Moana Manuō. Those were great times! I remember the Salulima when we didn't bend or se’e in place. Good old times! You know you have an 'Original A'o Siva' when she brings out the Salulima! 😆🤣🤠 Yeeeeehaaaaww!

I also recall how we always looked forward to stage performances where we would see Maleko , our costume, headpieces, and accessories designer!

Today we honor one of our mother's most well known Siva Samoa dancers, the former Miss Pacific Islands and former Miss American Samoa, the stunning Matauaina To'omalatai Whitcombe.

We are happy to see Mrs. Whitcombe and her lovely sister Taumaoe To'omalatai, who both danced with our mother for years, teaching our Samoan children the cultural performing arts of Samoa and the Pacific through Teine Lalelei Dance Academy in American Samoa.

Thank you so much for remembering our mother, Matauaina. We appreciate your kind thoughts from 2021. She loved you and Taumaoe both very much. Sending blessings and good vibes mo le lua academy mo teine lalelei a Samoa i sasa'e ma Samoa i sisifo. We honor you, Aina. You are AMAZING. Alofa tele atu!
