THE FIRST EVER VILLAGE VA'A REGATTA IN SAMOA!!
Come and support our villages as we celebrate Samoa’s Independence through va’a, sport, culture, and community.
Hosted by Alo Paopao Academy with the Government of Samoa, this special event will bring village teams together on the water for sprint racing at Miti Maninoa Ocean Club and distance racing in Apia.

We encourage villages, schools, clubs, and community groups to put together junior teams and be part of this historic event.
Bring your family, wear your village colours, and come support the paddlers and village teams.
This is more than a race it is about reviving our water culture, building village participation, creating pathways for our youth, and celebrating Samoa together.
