Road to 2030: Kosovo on the Mediterranean Stage 🇽🇰

Yesterday, the European Investors Council hosted “Road to 2030: Kosovo on the Mediterranean Stage”, bringing together representatives from institutions, diplomatic missions and the business community to discuss the opportunities and long-term legacy of the Mediterranean Games.

The event was opened by EIC Executive Director, Mr. Emrush Ujkani, followed by opening remarks from Mr. Damien Combredet-Blassel, Ambassador for Sport, French Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs; Mr. Kushtrim Krasniqi, Ministry of Sports and Youth; Mr. Endrit Hoxha, Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture and Sport of Albania; Mr. Ernad Suljevic, Minister of Regional Investment Development; and Mr. Hubert Perr, Head of Cooperation Section of the European Union Office in Kosovo.

We sincerely thank all speakers, partners and participants for their valuable contributions and support.

The European Investors Council in cooperation with the Embassy of Slovenia in Kosovo, successfully organized the 3rd Roundtable with Slovenian Businesses Operating in Kosovo, dedicated to discussing the future of Kosovo’s insurance sector.

We sincerely thank H.E. Ambassador Borut Blaj for his continued support and partnership, as well as Mr. Jeton Mehmeti, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Industry, Entrepreneurship, Trade and Innovation, Mr. Shpend Balija, CEO of SAVA Group Insurance Company, and Mr. Amir Keka, Director of the Health Insurance Fund, for sharing their valuable insights and contributing to a productive discussion.

The discussion was opened and moderated by Mr. Emrush Ujkani, Executive Director of EIC, highlighting the importance of stronger cooperation between institutions and the private sector in advancing reforms and improving Kosovo’s insurance sector.
