We’re very pleased to share that our Cuvée Brut 2020 was awarded a Silver Medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025 🙌

Judges praised its “complex nose of lime, peach and brioche,” with a “fine mousse, gentle mouthfeel, further citrus, grape-skin, almond and sourdough, with a zippy finish.”

A proud moment for us and another strong endorsement and reflection of this 2020 vintage. Thanks to Decanter Awards and the judges for this recognition 🙏🥂

Fruit set is in full swing here at Busi Jacobsohn! 🍇 Tiny grapes are forming beautifully after flowering, marking the next vital stage in the growing season.In England’s cooler climate, fruit set can be more variable than in warmer regions. Success at this stage depends heavily on:Weather during flowering: Warm, dry, and calm conditions promote good pollination and fruit set. Sunlight and temperature: Essential for photosynthesis and hormone production that drives berry development. Looks great now and is on track for a promising vintage - though much still depends on the weather ahead!
