Just rolled the Silverback truck, amazing sunny day, right into Maffeo Sutton Park to drop off this year’s official merch for the Nanaimo Blues Society Nanaimo Blues Festival! 🚚💨

Check out the clip 👇 We got the truck parked, the stage set, and a quick look at the custom tees we printed for this weekend’s lineup. There is nothing like seeing our screen printing work come to life right as the music gets ready to play.

Full circle moments on today’s adventure with the Silverback truck. 🦍🎨

I took a drive back to where it all began artistically for me: Emily Carr’s House.

Back in 1976 to 1978, I spent weekends here as a kid in art classes. One weekend, three gentlemen showed, spoke with my teacher.They asked if I would like artwork featured in a touring exhibit across Canada. I was beyond excited! Sad part, My family ended up moving before I ever got to see the exhibit tour—and who knows where those pieces are now—but that moment marked me forever.

Going back today and standing in that same space made me realize there is a missing spark—from as a kid to building the Silverback brand today.

I’ve missed doing pure creative work lately, but stepping back onto those grounds today just might have reignited that fire. 🔥

Cheers to summer in the Valley! 🍷✨

The Cowichan in Wine Festival is officially around the corner, running all month long from August 1st to August 31st!

We enjoyed printing 2,000 custom wine glasses for the Valley’s biggest celebration of local vineyards and incredible flavors. Every single glass was crafted to look sharp, feel great in hand, and hold up through thousands of toasts this August. 🥂

If you’re heading out to taste the best the Cowichan Valley has to offer this month, you’ll be holding a piece of our work while you sip!

We put in long hours, working on cool Projects…so when the weekend comes around on the beautiful island, it’s time to head to some of our favorite spots….and maybe a car wash. Look For us rolling through the island while you’re enjoying the sunshine this weekend… give us a wave. I always remember to GO APE!

One of the best parts of working in the Cowichan Valley is starting the day like this. 🐾

Every morning the dogs and I take a walk through the beautiful grounds at Enrico Winery before heading into the shop. Some mornings it’s honestly hard to leave views like these behind!

Don’t worry though... we’ll make it to work soon enough. 😄 Once we’re in the shop, it’s all about bringing your ideas to life with custom apparel, branding, signs, promotional products, embroidery, screen printing, decals, and so much more.
We’re proud to call Vancouver Island home and even prouder to help local businesses, schools, sports teams, and organizations stand out with professional branding that gets noticed.
