We’ve had an amazing 5 years at Phoenix Park serving you all through our community cafe.

When Covid hit and we couldn’t have you all with us, we took the time to take our food to those in our community that needed us most.

Our groups, those that hired our community space and our friends at parkrun made our time enjoyable. Many customers became friends.

We will miss you all in the cafe but want you to support Esposito's as they open up very soon, ensuring those that love Phoenix Park have a cafe space to enjoy once again!

…and for us, we will continue our projects and support our community as best we can, as we always do. Keep following our page for information.

Today’s local history group at Castlefields Community Centre looked at migration and railways in Runcorn. The next meeting will be on 14th March 1:30-3:30 - the group is free - all welcome

Bombers Bikes work with young teens teaching bike skills, improving health, fitness and wellbeing. The lads took part in a fun session on Phoenix Park pump track and mountain bike trails in the woodlands.

UPDATE ON OUR COMMUNITY CAFE

After 5 fantastic years of CHI at Phoenix Park, we have had to take the decision to close our community cafe from Sunday 13th October.

When we took on Phoenix Park in 2019 we set out to deliver a 5-year project. We couldn’t foresee covid or cost of living crisis, but as difficult as it was for us, it allowed us to support so many of our community through difficult times.

The cafe has been an amazing part of our project. We’ve loved serving our regular customers and the food & activity projects we’ve been able to deliver.

We want to thank all of our customers over the last 5 years, many who have been with us throughout, you’ve contributed to supporting so many people through CHI community cafe.

Our community activities and projects will continue. Please continue to follow our page for further details as we develop our programme of activities and groups.

🛹 SCHOOL SUMMER HOLIDAY FUN 🦎

Summer school holiday activities have been fun but it’s nearly time for back to school !!

This summer we provided free activities and lunches for school children with support from The National Lottery Community Fund Halton Borough Council (Area Forum) and Windmill Hill Your Big Local Community
