Investing in a safer working environment.

At Fortoak and UK Labels, the health, safety and wellbeing of our people comes first.

That’s why we’ve recently completed a significant programme of site improvements across our facilities, including:

🔹 New fire exits and an emergency escape route
🔹 An upgraded C-TEC fire alarm system with central monitoring
🔹 A new Paxton access control system
🔹 New cantilever safety gates for pallet movement to & from mezzanine floors
🔹 Extended site access to improve HGV movements

But creating a safer workplace isn’t only about infrastructure.

Our cross-functional Health & Safety team meets every month to review risks, share ideas and identify opportunities to keep improving how we work.

And we’re not stopping here.

Further health and safety investments are already planned as we continue to improve our facilities, equipment and working practices.
