We’re only three episodes into season 7 of Outlander and there are 13 more to go, but that didn’t stop us from asking executive producer Maril Davis what’s happening in season 8, which will be the final season of the epic time-travel series based on the bestselling novels by Diana Gabaldon.

To date, Diana has written nine novels and is working on a tenth, which may be the final book in the series. She isn’t sure yet. But whether it is or not, it won’t be out before the TV writers tackle season 8. Which means that how the series ends and how the Outlander story actually wraps up could be two very different things. Except for the fact that Diana does have some input into what happens in season 8, so it shouldn’t get too crazy.

“I don’t know when her book’s coming out,” Maril told Parade. “I have to imagine it’s still at least a couple years away. Matt [showrunner Matthew B. Roberts] and I have talked about this a lot, and I think Matt feels this way and so do I, that we respect Diana enough to let her do what she wants to do. We don’t want to step on her books. It’s one thing if the books are out and we’re adapting her material. It’s another thing if we’re trying to do her ending before she’s had a chance to write it. Unless she wanted us to do that, and we could have that conversation.”

One plus to the situation is that Diana has always told Matt and Maril that the books are hers, but the TV series is theirs – with a little of her weighing in on the series. But, happily for the producers, Diana is able to separate the two.

“We want to be respectful of her and we’re going to have to end the show a different way, I think,” Maril continues. “Still, it’s a lot of pressure. You want to make it satisfying. We want to be satisfied and we want the fans to be satisfied. We want to leave the show in a place that you’re feeling, ‘I’m sad but 'Oh, my God, that was amazing.’”

One of the things that Diana has spoken about in interviews is that in the final book, she will address Jamie’s ghost who is looking up at Claire’s lighted room in Mrs. Baird’s Bed & Breakfast, which happened in both the first book and in episode one of the series. So, the question is: Will the TV show also include that?

The name of the Starz series Heels may imply it's a show about footwear and fashion. But anyone who's followed along since the first season premiered on Aug. 15, 2021 knows that's not the case.

Heels is actually a sibling-rivalry drama created by Michael Waldron set against the backdrop of the world of independent wrestling. The title is a reference to the "heel," or villain character, in pro wrestling. In the case of the show, that villain is Jack Spade (Stephen Amell), big bro to hero (or "face") Ace Spade (Alexander Ludwig).

Starz renewed Heels for a second season in November 2021, but the show is only just slated to return this summer. In short, it's been a while. Here's everything you need to know about Season 2 of Heels, including info on the release date, cast, trailer and more.

What happened at the end of Heels Season 1?
The Starz drama Heels is about brothers Jack and Ace, small-town pro wrestlers who spar over how to run their late father's business, Duffy Wrestling League, and who gets to be its star.

In the Season 1 finale, "Double Turn," DWL is featured on its biggest stage yet, but Jack and Ace—who are at each other's throats—are far from celebratory. In the final match of the episode, they're involved in a bloody (and not-staged) fight in the ring when Crystal (Kelli Berglund) swoops in to try to script a better ending and winds up claiming the DWL championship belt herself.

Is there a Heels Season 2?
Yes. Heels Season 2 will premiere on Starz on July 28, 2023.

Is Heels based on a true story?
No. Heels is not based on a true story. The Spade brothers aren't inspired by real-life characters, and even the town of Duffy, Georgia, is fictional. The show offers a made-up portrayal of the world of independent wrestling. But star Stephen Amell says it isn't even really about wrestling so much as it is about something much larger.

“We’re not just making a wrestling show,” Amell told the New York Times. “This is a show about people wanting more out of life.”

Who is cast in Heels Season 2?
Stephen Amell as Jack Spade
Stephen Amell plays villain (heel) Jack Spade, older brother of Ace. Jack is also the proprietor of Duffy Wrestling League (DWL), a fictional small-town wrestling business once owned by the brothers' late father. Amell was previously known for his role as Oliver Queen on The CW's Arrow and also had a brief pro-wrestling career that included guest appearances on WWE's RAW.

Alexander Ludwig as Ace Spade
Alexander Ludwig stars as Ace Spade, Jack's little brother and the hero (face). He played Cato in The Hunger Games (2012). During Heels' hiatus, Ludwig released his first country music album, Highway 99, on Aug. 26, 2022.

Kris Jenner had her own Lucille Bluth moment while proving she doesn't know how much fast food costs.

On the latest episode of The Kardashians, Kim Kardashian's Las Vegas birthday plans fall through, so the Kardashians and their friends decide to grab a bite at a nearby In-N-Out. Jenner tries to hand Khloe Kardashian a large wad of cash, to which the youngest of the sisters responds, "Mom, I don't know how the f--k you've never been to a fast food restaurant. We don't need hundreds of dollars."

"My mom gave me $100," said Khloe to the camera, showing the crisp bill. "She tried to give me $300. I don't think she realized how much fast food restaurants are." Jenner had clearly overestimated the price of the large order, which ended up being $59.50.

Kim revealed that this is her "vegan cheat meal" and shared her order: plain cheeseburger with light onions and a side of cheese fries. The rest also ordered milkshakes, burgers, and fries.

The birthday guests munched on the meal in a party bus, with Kim snapping a photo of herself eating the burger. Though fast food may have been out of Jenner's comfort zone, she declared that it was "the best meal [while having] the best time."

The family of Cindy Birdsong, a former member in The Supremes, is asking a Los Angeles court to put the singer under a conservatorship, new reports reveal.

The request for a conservatorship comes amid her family's concerns that the 83-year-old Motown artist, who famously left The Supremes back in 1976, is unfit to handle her own affairs after suffering several strokes. Her relatives also believe her longtime friend, Rochelle Lander, has too much control over the performer's care and finances.

According to the report from the New York Times, Cindy's family has asked the court to assign her brother, Ronald Birdsong, and entertainment manager Brad Herman, as Cindy's co-conservators, and remove Lander as a caretaker.

The family believes Lander—who was given power of attorney by Cindy over ten years ago—has been holding too much control over her life, including "isolating" her from friends and family.

As Cindy's health has deteriorated over the years, Ronald claims Lander has kept the family "in the blind," about his sister's condition.

After suffering a second major stroke about seven years ago, the family accused Lander of becoming "increasingly secretive" about the status of Cindy's health, including "at one point refusing to tell the family the medical facility where she was receiving care."

"We didn't even know where Cindy was," said the singer's sister-in-law Melody Birdsong. Lander, however, has insisted the family knew all along about Cindy's condition.

Cindy's brother Ronald, as well as her only child, David Hewlett, claimed they also had difficulty visiting her for years, which they believe is on account of Lander's control.

Just like her character on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Rachel Brosnahan has a bright future ahead of her—only instead of it involving stand-up comedy, it involves a DC comic. After weeks of speculation, the actress has been cast as Lois Lane in James Gunn's Superman: Legacy. She'll play opposite David Corenswet as Clark Kent.

Gunn confirmed the news on Twitter, writing, "Accurate! (They are not only both incredible actors, but also wonderful people)." According to Deadline, the casting decision came after months of audition tapes and in-person screen tests.

Although Brosnahan has yet to address the news, she did address casting rumors last month on The View, indicating that the part would be a dream role. "It would be extraordinary," she said. "I grew up watching Lois Lane, this incredibly talented journalist who is far from a damsel in destress. And I would jump at the chance if it arose."

With the future of rap group Migos unclear amid the tragic death of member Takeoff, its surviving members Quavo and Offset treated fans to a surprise tribute performance honoring the late rapper at the 2023 BET Awards.

The tribute occurred after a commercial break, with Quavo and Offset appearing onstage in the dark as a sample of Takeoff's part in "Hotel Lobby" (the duet between Quavo and Takeoff) played, while an image of a spaceship was unveiled in the backdrop, symbolizing the late groupmate. The crowd went wild as the now-duo launched into their hit "Bad & Boujee."

"BET! Do it for Take!," they shouted during the performance.

Fans were emotional and overjoyed to see Migos back together, sharing their reactions on social media.

This onstage reunion is a big deal, considering Quavo and Offset were rumored to be feuding after Takeoff's passing. TMZ reported in February that the rappers had an altercation backstage at the Grammys after Quavo allegedly wouldn't allow Offset to be included in a tribute to the late Migos member.

The remaining Migos members teased their reconciliation six days before their BET Awards performance, posing in front of a mural of Takeoff, wearing t-shirts bearing his face. Quavo captioned the Instagram post, "ALL for TAKE!"

Though Cardi B was not at the BET Awards, she shared a video on her Instagram Story of herself watching her husband Offset and Quavo's surprise set. "Soooo proud of them," she wrote in the clip.

Takeoff died on November 1, 2022 after being shot during an altercation in Houston.
