Can you believe I didn’t want a wedding?
I said a courthouse wedding was enough, I begged to just elope and then do a celebratory dinner when we got back. But wasn’t having none of that.
He said “this love needs to be celebrated” and I’m so glad I listened… begrudgingly
We had the most magical day, surrounded by our favorite people, celebrating a love story that started a year ago and bloomed to the most loving, caring, healthy, happy relationship a girl could have ever dreamed of.
A love like no other with a man like no other.
Thank you for all who watched and supported and celebrated with me on this wild ride.
Mikey, you were worth every heartache, every awful experience, every time I wondered why I wasn’t enough to find real love, you were worth the wait, thank you for saving me.

Cutting up my MIL perfectly preserved 36 year old wedding dress without telling her 🥹
(She gave me permission)
Originally we were going to go to a tailor here in Tampa but he told us his recommendation was just to get another dress 🙃
Unfortunately, we don’t take no for an answer around here. So, secretly I recruited my 85 year old Cuban Abuela, who speaks no English and I don’t speak Spanish so my mother was thankfully there to translate for me lol.
She has been a seamstress her whole life, has an industrial Singer from 1965, don’t play with her. If anyone could do it, it would be her.
She loved the dress as is so much and did NOT want to cut it, it took FOUR VISITS, literally 4 visits for us to finally convince her to cut the dress because I wanted it long in the back and short in the front, and she was so sad to cut the fabric because it had been so perfectly preserved.
But, I finally convinced her and she did!
So now I get to surprise my MIL with her dress that she thinks was not getting worn, BUT IT IS! WHO wants to see her reaction 🥹

2025 was shaping up to be one of the best years of my life, I was having fun again, I was laughing and smiling and met the love of my life and got engaged and Gabbie finally didn’t make me cry anymore lol
It’s so crazy how quickly things can change.
No one teaches you how to be a caretaker for your parents, no one warns you how challenging it can be.
I have tried to come on here and be normal and make content but it’s been hard- 1, I look crazy every single day, most days wearing the same hoodie I’ve worn for a month straight, hair not washed, let alone brushed, but also, I just have so little joy to share rn.
But the joy is coming back, little by little, just watching Gabbie thrive in this environment brings the joy back little by little
