launched its inaugural issue in Summer 2026- a journal that bridges Ancient Greek heritage with contemporary global writing, offering poetry, short stories, essays in bilingual formats ( English/Greek). I am so proud to announce that my brother Ranga S Ranganaathan was featured in this prestigious publication with a poem entitled, THE PLEA FOR SOULS SYLLABUS. The title itself should be enough for you to want to read it. It is published in digital/paperback editions and available internationally via platforms like Amazon. For more information, feel free to check out their official page. Let us celebrate old fashioned platforms like books, magazines, libraries and HUMAN CREATIVITY that are dying as we speak! You make me feel so proud, my dearest brother. You are teaching us there is no age limit to be a trail blazer in human existence as we know it. HEARTIEST CONGRATULATIONS 🩷🙏💃🙌👏🙌🩷

Just in case…..

Just in case... Stay safe everyone! Tomorrow is the big day. It's official. Signed at 6:00 am. It even made it on TV. I just got so sad! Don't forget that Facebook's new rule (aka Meta) comes into effect tomorrow, allowing you to use your photos. Don't forget the deadline is today!.

A Decade of Personal Development and More Maybe?!?! (July 8th 2026)

“If you keep chasing yesterday’s question, you will miss tomorrow’s answer”

Heard this quote from one of my clients!
Original source unknown!!!!!

I wrote this 👆on July 8th 2013 originally, after seeing this client for more than two years- She was suffering from PTSD and saw me twice a week to recover from complex family trauma.

Then she reached out to me during the pandemic and I saw her for 4 to 5 months, almost as a ‘refresher’ ( her words) and she left, promising to reach out to me if she needed to.

I saw her again 2 years ago for another brief stint during ‘some career & interpersonal challenges’ ( her words)

Then earlier this year, she came back again to ‘catch me up on her life’ and stated that I was never allowed to retire, in case she needed to come back!

Saw Imtiaz Ali’s Hindi movie, “Main Vaapas Aaunga” ( I Will Be Back) starring Naseeruddin Shah leading an impressive cast, with textured performances and haunting melodies by A. R Rehman. He narrates this powerful love story, juxtaposing two time periods about two young lovers torn apart by the India/Pakistan Partition (1947) and its multi-generational impact across 3 generations. Woven around the story is the horrific reality of the Partition, Refugees, and the trauma witnessed by so many families. More than one million people died during the Partition and few people in the West really understand its impact. What is particularly jarring is the toll it took on so many women who were left behind and suffered untold atrocities. Ali handles the complex themes of religion and psychological trauma carefully and takes the audience on a sensitive journey to experience our collective humanity, rather than shaming/blaming the nations or religions most impacted by it. It draws younger audiences through a history lesson, exploring the meaning of loss, love, trust, loyalty, and belonging in relationship spaces. Take handkerchiefs or tissues- you’ll need them! Bravo 👏
