TETSUO Mizu unorganised line creates irregular shapes, some of his signature works consists of ‘international maritime signal flags in exquisite tactile textures. His works usually consist of his expressive usage of blue which is often compared to Utagawa Hiroshige’s Ukiyoe painting of the Edo period (17th -18th centuries). He challenges, and try to fuse the representational and the abstract forms beyond finite space.

SUMI PAINTNGS
•
KIMIKO Yoshimi’s dynamic artwork has a boldness and depth that flaunts the diverse artistic capacity in her. She tries to ensconce the beauty of the transition, when sumi and water are integrated on Japanese rice paper, to produce her intense creations. Balance and rhythmic sense in the composition of the tonal values of black and white and the various effects created through the brushworks used create a powerful artwork that captures attention.
