First-time parents? Multiples? Older siblings? Back to work? A postpartum doula can offer invaluable care and support for many family situations.

Peggy offers overnight postpartum doula services. This is from 10pm - 6am in your home and covers all aspects of baby and/or mother care. This much needed break can be extremely helpful for the whole family, minimizing stress, giving mom the rest she needs, and allowing mom and dad quiet time together. Peggy will soothe your baby to sleep, and nap near him, waking when he wakes to care for him. If you’re breastfeeding, Peggy will bring the baby to you for nighttime feedings. She then burps and changes your baby, swaddling and soothing your baby back to sleep, maximizing your sleep time. If you bottle feed (formula or breast milk), there is no need to wake you at all. You may choose to have an overnight doula from time to time to get rest as needed, or you may decide to have help for an extended period to establish sleep patterns for your baby.
$50/hr
Peggy is skilled at supporting breastfeeding, and can help with latch issues, positioning and comfort. She is infant CPR certified, and herself a former breastfeeding mother of three.
