🔥schimbările psihologice și emoționale pe care le traversează un bărbat atunci când devine tată;
🔥diferențele dintre modelul tradiţional și cel modern de paternitate, precum și provocările pe care le aduce contextul actual;
🔥echilibrul dintre fermitate şi blândeţe;
🔥cum sunt perpetuate tiparele moștenite din familia de origine sau, dimpotrivă, transformate conștient;
🔥presiunea resimţită de taţii moderni;
🔥curajul de a deveni părintele de care copilul are cu adevărat nevoie;
🔥impactul autorității echilibrate, efectele absenței emoționale sau ale comportamentelor disfuncționale;
🔥felul în care relația cu tatăl modelează copilul de astăzi şi, implicit, adultul de mâine;
🔥provocările specifice taților care lucrează în străinătate, dar şi soluţiile la care pot face apel;
🔥nevoia tot mai mare a bărbaților de spații sigure în care să vorbească despre propriile dificultăți;
🔥nevoia de repere sănătoase privind rolul de tată;

A quick one for the dads.

You know that feeling after a hard day, you've snapped at the kids, or zoned out at the dinner table, and later it sits with you? That quiet guilt that says I should be doing this better.

Here's what I've learned after 12+ years working with men: the dads who feel that guilt most are usually the ones who care most. It's not a sign you're getting it wrong.

On Thursday 25 June, 7:30pm, I'm hosting a free online session with DadSpace called The Guilt Signal — why good dads feel bad, and what that guilt is actually trying to tell you.

All online, so you can join once the kids are down.

It's completely free (donations welcome — DadSpace is a non-profit for dads). Grab a spot here:

And if another dad came to mind while you read this, send it his way. He might not go looking, but he'll be glad you thought of him. ❤️

Almost every man says the same thing after a few sessions:

“I didn’t realise how much I was carrying.”
“And I wish I’d come sooner.”

Walking into therapy takes courage, especially when you’ve spent years being the strong one, the reliable one, the one who holds it together.

What tends to surprise men most isn’t what we talk about, but how it works.
It’s practical. It’s collaborative. It’s not about being judged or analysed.

We use your strengths like focus, responsibility and determination, and apply them in a way that actually reduces stress and brings clarity, rather than burning you out.

You don’t have to stop being strong.
You just don’t have to do it alone.

If this resonates, save it.
And when you’re ready, support is there.

Most men I work with don’t come to therapy because they’re “falling apart.”

They come because the way they’ve been coping, pushing through, staying strong, handling it alone, is starting to cost them.

Strength, toughness, and independence aren’t the problem.
They’ve helped you get where you are.

But when those same traits mean swallowing stress, staying silent, or carrying everything on your own, something has to shift.

Therapy for men isn’t about becoming less strong.
It’s about using your strengths in a way that actually supports your mental health, your relationships, and the life you’re trying to hold together.

If any part of this feels familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself.

Save this if it lands, and stay tuned for part 2!

I’m a Clinical Psychologist who works mainly with men, often dads, who look like they’re coping, but feel overloaded inside.

The men I meet aren’t “falling apart”.
They’re functioning. Working. Providing. Holding it together.
They’re just exhausted from carrying everything on their own.

My work is practical, calm, and straightforward.
No pressure to perform. No judgement. No therapy clichés.
Just a space where you can talk honestly, make sense of what’s going on, and learn tools you can actually use, at work, at home, and in your relationships.

I believe men deserve a place where they don’t have to pretend they’re fine.

If any of this feels familiar, you’re not weak. You’re human.
And you don’t have to figure it out alone.

For a long time, I used to think trauma had to be something dramatic. A crisis, a disaster, a headline-worthy event.

But in my work, I’ve learned something important:

Trauma isn’t defined by how big the situation was.
It’s defined by how alone you felt during it.

Some trauma is loud. Sudden, overwhelming, impossible to ignore.

But some trauma is quiet.

It looks like:

➡️ being the kid who kept everything together,
➡️ the teenager who never felt safe to speak up,
➡️ or the adult who still feels responsible for everyone else’s needs.

Sometimes, trauma isn’t about what happened.
It’s about what didn’t happen.

The support that wasn’t there.
The comfort that never came.
The safety you didn’t get to experience.

Your nervous system remembers moments your mind has written off as “not a big deal.”

If you’ve ever thought:
“I shouldn’t feel this way, nothing bad happened,”

I want you to hear this:

You’re not weak.
You adapted.

Your body did what it had to do to protect you.

And you don’t have to keep carrying it alone.

If you’re ready to stop just surviving and start living without that weight on your shoulders, reach out to me now.

Healing doesn’t mean going back to who you were before the trauma.
It means becoming who you were always meant to be.

OCD is not “just being tidy.”

There are subtypes that have nothing to do with cleaning, organising or germs, and many of them are invisible.

Here’s what’s important to know:

➡ OCD is driven by fear and uncertainty, not preference.
➡ Compulsions aren’t always visible. Sometimes they happen in the mind.
➡ You are not your thoughts.

If you’re ready to explore support, reach out to me via DM now, or:

OCD rarely exists on its own.

For many people, OCD overlaps with anxiety, depression, perfectionism, eating difficulties, or neurodivergence (ADHD/autism). That’s why symptoms often get missed or misunderstood.

The overlap with other conditions isn’t a sign of weakness. It’s a sign of overwhelm.

💬 If this resonates with you or someone you love, you’re not alone.
OCD is treatable. Recovery is possible. DM to learn how I can help.
