The grapes are handpicked from superior vineyards in San Luis Obispo and Santa Barbara county, and every bottle is handcrafted in the original dairy barn. Nestled amongst rolling, oak-studded hills on the outskirts of San Luis Obispo, California, is a very unique little winery: Filipponi Ranch. This boutique winery began with the vision of founder Herb Filipponi whose father, Lorenzo, immigrated t

o America from Switzerland in the early 1900's with the dream of a better life. After purchasing and settling on this 300-acre ranch, Lorenzo started a dairy farm where Filipponi Ranch winery is located today. Come by and visit! You will be delighted by the quaintness of the ranch and impressed by our wines! After tasting, you are welcome to use the picnic area for lunch or stay and enjoy a game of bocce ball, cornhole or horseshoes.
