Derek Eadon founded Bluprint Strategies in 2013. Derek is an experienced campaign and public affairs strategist based in Des Moines, IA. Derek has worked for political campaigns, non-profits, and large businesses. He specializes in organization building, integrated planning, and event management. Derek was the first field organizer hired by the Obama Campaign in 2007, and worked for President Obama in Iowa in many capacities. In 2009 he was named the State Director of Organizing for America, leading the President’s organizing efforts in the state. In 2012, Derek was named the Iowa General Election Director for the Obama Campaign, leading hundreds of staff and thousands of volunteers. The campaign produced record voter registration, early voting, and turnout. Derek also served as the Coordinated Campaign Director for the Iowa Democratic Party in 2010, and has worked with the party in other capacities since 2006. As a consultant, Derek has assisted political campaigns, ballot initiatives, non-profits, and large businesses.
