Design is the practice that involves finding solutions that fit the user, task, and context. As a practicing designer, I have spent a number of years contemplating composition, imagery and typography. My passion for design, skill as a print artist, and continued interest in the interchange between research, commerce, and culture began living abroad in Frankfurt, Germany. My combined experiences of living in Europe and across the United States fueled my interest and belief in the importance of sustainable human-centered design. For me, design is a creative process that combines art and technology to communicate ideas. This ubiquitous art form has enabled me respond to personal and public needs as well as embrace economic and ergonomic concerns. I am inspired and driven by human-centered design that is meaningful and touches people's lives. My ultimate goal as a designer is to develop and create work that informs, persuades, organizes, stimulates, identifies, locates, and attracts attention to the social causes that make our environment better.
