It is possible to lose weight and have ‘abs’ on a plant based or ketogenic diet, however as you’ve probably heard me say before A CALORIE is NOT A CALORIE. If you eat the same calories – let’s say 2000 calories on a traditional Keto diet versus 2000 calories on a balanced plant based diet which one do you think is going to help you thrive more and protect your Space Suit and ultimately lead to great longevity? Is it the diet that consists of high animal saturated fats, hormones, antibiotics, high carnitine etc or is the diet that gives you a balance of macronutrients, enough dietary fibre per day, comes with with an immense amount of protective micronutrients and has been adopted by the blue zone populations where people live well into their 90’s and 100’s with a high quality of life and minimal, if any, medications? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
