We are factory trained and authorized to diagnose and repair most major brands of appliances. We are licensed, bonded, and insured contractors in Arizona.

We are a locally owned and operated Tucson business serving the old pueblo & southeastern Arizona. On March 3, 1980 a company was formed that would change the way all major appliances and products were handled and repaired. The goal of this fledgling corporation was to forever change the concepts of appliance repair and appliance technical representation/perceptions. Through dedication and perseverance, we succeeded in creating and maintaining a service company that is capable and willing to fulfill the many and varied needs of major appliance manufacturers as well as individual customers. At ATS, we’re celebrating our small team of laborers with a much needed day off on Monday.

For many this is a long weekend that also presents itself as a time to shop. With various retailers running specials on appliances and if it’s simply time to replace something in your home, it could be a good time to do that. When you’re picking out a new appliance please consider if factory authorized service, for the manufacturer you’re considering, is available in your area. ATS serves a wide region and is partnered with a great variety of manufacturers’ appliances.

When you bring that shiny new appliance home, do your future self a favor and file (and/or electronically file) the proof of purchase. This is your ticket to factory covered warranty work. The burden of verifying a customer’s warranty entitlement falls on service providers like ATS and this document will save you especially if some time has passed between the manufacture date and your date of purchase or delivery.

Also, take a picture of the model/serial tag and electrically file that or write down that info on your proof of purchase and/or owner’s manual. This info can help ATS, help you, faster. Take a minute and review the warranty info within the owner’s manual, if it wasn’t clear when you purchased the appliance, and to ensure it matches what was outlined at the time of purchase. This section of the manual is the straight truth on what a manufacturer is promising to you, the consumer.

And of course, ATS’s team of experienced technicians is more than happy to work on your more senior, long relied upon, and proven appliances that you want to prolong the life of as well.

So, you've decided to take advantage of seasonal deals and replace an appliance. Here are some smart consumer steps to ensure the transition goes smoothly for you and that future repairs will be covered under the manufacturer warranty as long as possible.

* Unpack and inspect: look for scratches, dents, ensure all parts are there.
* Register your appliance!
* Read the manual: the manufacturer's instructions for how to operate your appliance can make a difference in how it performs. For example, there really are proper ways to load a dishwasher; your manual will tell you how to maximize performance.
* Proper installation: clean, allow space for ventilation and connections, level the appliance. Follow the manufacturer's instructions for installation.
* Run initial cycles and adjust settings - your manual will tell you to run some discard cycles to clear out any residue or dust from the manufacturing process. This is especially important for ice makers and water dispensers. Set temperatures for fridges and freezers, check the settings on ovens (Fahrenheit versus Celsius).
* Run through multiple settings to check functionality. If one of your features isn't working, it's better to figure it out sooner rather than later.
* File your proof of purchase in a safe space or in your electronic files.
* Many manufacturers' warranties cover installation and customer instruction, but it's not for a long period.

To deal with any issues you may find, call ATS directly to schedule a service call or work through your manufacturer's customer service department and ask for ATS to be your service provider. We'll get a dispatch and reach out to schedule your service call.

Feeling thankful this season and always. We passed one year of ownership mid-month. The team surprised us with a lunchtime celebration! We’re blessed to be on this adventure and thank them for supporting us and continuing to work hard (& smart) through this year of transition!

Happy Veterans' Day! Remembering the service and sacrifice of all those who chose to sign on the dotted line.
As I pulled out a very grainy photo of Brian and I together, in uniform, I realized we didn't take nearly enough while we were both in the AF. I also remember how busy we were! He separated after 8 years as a mu*****ns & aircraft maintenance officer and I am just finishing up after 20+ years as a combat systems officer (or navigator). We're thankful for the opportunities and experiences that military service enriched our lives with.
