Theme for the Month: June 2026
There is an old concept in classic game theory known as “The Stag Hunt.” The idea is simple:
A single hunter, working alone, can catch rabbits - small wins, enough to survive. But to bring down the mighty stag, something far greater is required: trust, coordination, discipline, and teamwork.
The stag is too powerful for one person alone.
That lesson applies directly to us at VR. As individuals, we may be capable of small things. A person can survive selling sweets or snacks on a roadside corner. But only as a coordinated team can we:
-Design world-class products
-Maintain meaningful customer relationships & service
-Fabricate massive buckets and trays
-Execute complex projects
-Deliver quality at scale
-Compete against industry giants...and win
That is the difference between surviving and thriving.
Every department, every handoff, every person in the chain matters. Engineering cannot succeed without procurement. Production cannot succeed without planning. Sales cannot succeed without quality. Leadership cannot succeed without the trust and effort of the team.
The mighty stag falls only when everyone holds the line.
This month is a reminder that:
-Individual talent is valuable, but coordinated teams are unstoppable.
-Trust is a force multiplier.
-Great achievements require shared sacrifice and shared reward.
-When we align behind a common objective, we punch far above our weight.
At VR, we have already proven this. We may not always be the biggest player in the market, but our culture, speed, resilience, and teamwork allow us to compete far beyond what others think possible. So, this month, ask yourself:
-Am I acting only for my own rabbit, or for the team’s stag?
-Am I making life easier or harder for the next person in the chain?
-Am I contributing to the hunt...or distracting from it?
Because alone, yes we may ("may") survive.
But together, we become mighty.
