We would like to confirm the following:

• Medprax has NOT changed its banking details
• Medprax has NO intention of changing its banking details at present
• Please do NOT make any payments to any account other than the existing Medprax bank account currently on record

If you receive any communication requesting payment to different banking details, or if anything appears unusual or suspicious, please contact us directly before making payment.

Medprax Security Alert – Fraudulent Emails and Calls

Medprax has been made aware of fraudulent emails currently circulating that appear to come from Medprax staff members, specifically [email protected] and [email protected]

These emails request recipients to open an attachment or click on a link and then provide personal or banking information. In at least one instance, a client has also received a phone call from an individual impersonating a Medprax staff member requesting banking details.

Please note the following:

• These emails and calls did not originate from Medprax
• Medprax will never request banking details via email or phone in this manner
• Any message requesting you to click a link, open an attachment, or provide confidential information should be treated as suspicious

If you receive such an email:

Do not click on any links
Do not open any attachments
Do not provide any personal or banking information
Delete the email immediately
If you have already interacted with the message or provided information, please contact your bank immediately and notify Medprax.

Medprax takes the security of our clients and systems very seriously and we are currently investigating the matter.
