💙 Sometimes the smallest acts of kindness leave the biggest impression.

Over the weekend, Officer Lindo Mhlongo, demonstrated the values that define our business every day.

After noticing a family who had accidentally parked in a private parking area at a busy shopping precinct, he approached the situation with professionalism, patience and empathy. Rather than simply directing them away, he took the time to assist them in finding the correct parking area and ensured they reached their destination without any further stress.

What could have been a frustrating experience ended with a smile, thanks to someone who chose to go beyond the call of duty.

At Thorburn Security, we believe security is about more than protecting people and property. It's about serving communities with care, respect and humanity.

Well done to our officer for living our values and reminding us that great service is often found in the moments that matter most. 👏

👏 Officer of the Month | May 2026 👏

A big congratulations to Officer Thinamaano Muhadi, who was recognised as our Officer of the Month for May 2026, receiving his award from client representative Mr Richard Mundalamo.

Officer Muhadi is a familiar and friendly face to everyone who passes through the building. With a smile, a wave and a genuine concern for the safety of others, he makes a positive impact every day.

Recently, he witnessed a cellphone being snatched from an overseas tourist. Without hesitation, he called for assistance and helped the team successfully apprehend a suspect.

Thank you, Officer Muhadi, for your vigilance, dedication, and the care you show to every person you encounter.

Everyone knows how difficult it is to save money, and just how important tooth fairy and birthday money can be when you’re six years old. 💛

When Simoné van Heerden lost the wallet holding her treasured savings, it was more than just money. She had been carefully putting it aside to one day buy a farm for rescued animals. 🐾

After hearing what had happened, members of the community stepped in to help search for the missing wallet, including the Thorburn Security Solutions team.

To help put a smile back on her face, the team took Simoné’s official statement, opened a case file and treated the search with the same care and attention they would any important investigation.
