The Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) invites qualifying unemployed learners to apply for bursaries for the 2024 academic year.
APPLICATIONS FOR 2024 UNEMPLOYED LEARNERS’ BURSARIES NOW OPEN
APPLICATION OPEN: 23rd JULY 2023
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: 23rd AUGUST 2023 AT 23H59
WHO SHOULD APPLY?
· Learners currently in Grade 12 or have completed matric intending to study qualifications selected for the 2024 intake (see qualification list below);
· Currently registered students at universities and colleges who require funding for the 2024 academic year;
· Aviation students with valid PPL or CPL;
· Commercial divers with matric (Senior Certificate).
· Applicants must be studying at or intending to study at Universities (Public and Accredited Private Institutions), University of Technologies, Public and Private Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges and Accredited Aviation Schools, Accredited Diving Schools.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
· Applicants must be South African citizens.
· The bursary will target the youth.
· Applicants for the aforementioned qualifications may be preferred.
· Applications to ensure all required documents are included in the application.
HOW DO I APPLY?
· You can apply only through the online bursary system.
· TETA online Bursary Application System is the only preferred method of application.
· The online application system can be accessed through the TETA website (www.teta.org.za). The link to the TETA Online Bursary Application System is: https://clarity.teta.org.za.
· Bursary guidelines are available on the TETA website (www.teta.org.za) under TETA 2023/2024 Unemployed Bursary Learner Support.
APPLICANTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO USE THE ONLINE BURSARY APPLICATION SYSTEM. PLEASE NOTE THAT NO HAND DELIVERED APPLICATIONS WILL BE
