A strong vision and a wish held close to your heart can overcome most obstacles: one such example is Beth Mackay and a few other support staff members, as well as the management team of Rosenhof High School in Bloemfontein.
Beth approached me in 2021 - expressing the wish to build a labyrinth on the school premises - and approximately 18 months’ later this wish has been manifested.
They created the labyrinth entirely through their own efforts and named it The Rose Labyrinth. May this labyrinth weave its magic in the hearts of all those who walk it.

Rosenhof Special School is a school for teenaged girls between 13 and 17. The girls are in need of care as a result of behavioural and emotional problems. They have been removed from their caregivers’ care and placed at Rosenhof by order of the Children's Court under the Children's Act (38 of 2005).
There are various programmes offered to create developmental opportunites to equip the girls to be responsible persons who will take up their place in their families and broader communities, and hold down jobs.
