The workout is simple!
•Teams:
Team of 2
•Divisions:
Male/Male; Female/Female & Male/Female
•Workout:
Teams will have 20 minutes to accumulate:
(M/M) 100 calories Air Bike
(F/F) 75 calories Air Bike
(M/F) 85 calories Air Bike
Immediately into:
A combined 1 Rep Max Sn**ch & 1 Rep Max Clean.
•Scoring:
-Time to complete the Air Bike calories.
-Total combined heaviest Sn**ch & Clean (successfully lifted).
•Rules:
-Teams have to complete all calories before loading their barbell.
-Only one athlete may touch the Air Bike when accumulating calories.
-Athletes are allowed to do a power or squat variant of the Sn**ch and Clean.
-Only one barbell will be allowed on the platform.
-The athlete must stay on the platform when performing the lift and show control when finishing the rep.
-The barbell can be loaded heavier or lighter as you wish.
-Male athletes have to use a 20kg barbell.
-Female athletes have to use a 15kg barbell.
-If a lift has commenced before the time cap is reached, if done successfully, the rep will be given.
•Layout:
-Only 30 spots are available.
-Warm up areas will be available.
-Teams will compete in heats of 5 teams.
-The event will start at 08:00 and finish at 11:00, after which there will be a prize-giving.
