MEDIA STATEMENT

Discovery of Deceased Person on Happy Valley

28 August 2026

Pro-Force Security can confirm that at approximately 10:30 this morning, we received a call from a client reporting the discovery of a deceased person on Happy Valley.

The client and neighbouring residents had reportedly noticed a foul smell in the area over the past several days, which prompted the client to investigate further.

Upon arrival, Pro-Force Security personnel discovered a decomposing body.

Our officers immediately secured the scene and restricted access to preserve the integrity of the scene. The relevant authorities were promptly notified and requested to attend to the incident.

The circumstances surrounding the death, as well as the identity of the deceased, remain subject to investigation by the appropriate authorities.

Pro-Force Security would like to commend the client and neighbouring residents for reporting their concerns and for bringing the matter to our attention.

We will not speculate on the cause or circumstances of the death and will allow the relevant authorities to conduct their investigation.

According to a post shared by the Westdene Neighbourhood Association, Pro-Force Security Group has installed surveillance cameras at the corner of Albrecht and Brill Street.

The association thanked Pro-Force Security Group for the installation, noting that the intersection will now be under surveillance as part of efforts to improve security in the area.

The additional camera coverage provides another tool to monitor activity at the intersection and support ongoing community safety initiatives in Westdene.
