I’m not powerless.
The urge is real.

But it’s no longer my master.

Struggle isn’t the same as slavery.

Slavery says you can’t do anything but obey the impulse.
Resurrection says the old ruler lost its authority.

When Jesus died, sin’s mastery over me was dealt with.
When I received Him, His resurrected life also resurrected me.

So in that kitchen moment, with the noise rising, I’m not fighting for freedom.

I’m fighting from it.

And that changes everything.

The next time a familiar sin tempts you, pause and remember you are no longer captive to it.

Tomorrow: If your old master lost its claim, where does that place you now?

Chosen.

Children don’t audition for family.
They cry.
And family scoops them up.

“Abba” isn’t polished language. It’s not a posh, calm greeting of “oh, hello, Father.”

Jesus cried those same words in the Garden before His betrayal.

When Paul says we cry out to God as Father, he isn’t describing performance.

He’s describing instinct. The reflex of someone who knows they belong.

You’re not approaching God like an employee hoping for approval.

You’re coming as a child who already has it.

Where are you still living like fear has the final word instead of adoption?

Tomorrow: What future has God already secured for you as His child?

So when shame screams, remember: it’s shouting from a lower level.
When failure replays, remember: it may be real, but it isn’t ultimate.

Your life is hidden in the risen Christ. And one day, what is hidden will be revealed in glory.

Until then, you live from above, not toward it.

Because Jesus holds you secure.

If you feel exposed today, whisper slowly: I am eternally safe. My life is hidden with Christ.
