In the age of AI, critical thinking is a superpower.

Earlier this week, we reflected on the legacy of the 1976 Youth, who fought for the right to learn in a language they understood.

Fifty years later, South African learners have access to tools that previous generations could only dream of. A smartphone can now provide information, explanations, and even help with assignments in seconds.

But as technology becomes more powerful, an important question remains:
Are we using AI to support learning, or to replace it?

Critical thinking and problem-solving skills remain some of the most valuable skills a person can develop. These are the skills that help learners become leaders who actively participate in the countrys future.

The youth of 1976 fought for access to knowledge.

✨ *Behind the Scenes | A Room Full of Purpose*

Last week Friday, the Sange SA team had the privilege of attending the Graça Machel Trust Women Creating Wealth Programme Graduation Ceremony and we left with full hearts.

Our Founder and Director, Nobandla Gobodo, received her certificate of completion from this incredible programme, a milestone we are incredibly proud of. The Women Creating Wealth programme is designed for women entrepreneurs who are ready to grow beyond survival and build lasting wealth, impact, and legacy. It felt deeply aligned with everything we stand for as a 100% black women-owned organisation.

We were also given the opportunity to exhibit and connect, sharing Sange SA's story with graduates, alumni, and fellow women in business. The energy in the room was a reminder of what becomes possible when women commit to building, learning, and showing up for one another.

This also felt like a natural extension of a conversation we started earlier this week on the blog, about how true Enterprise Development goes beyond B-BBEE points. It is about building real capability, real confidence, and real economic participation. Nobandla's journey through this programme is a living example of exactly that.
