🐾 186 rescue dogs. One incredible woman. One community that stepped up.
When we first met Cecelia from Imagine Animal Dreams Shelter, we knew we wanted to make a meaningful difference. Today, we're proud to share that the shelter's new solar system is installed and fully operational. 💡
This means reliable electricity to support the daily operations and provide greater stability for her small team and the dogs in her care. The relief and gratitude she expressed upon seeing the system come to life reminded us why initiatives like these matter.
This project was made possible through the collaboration and support of Tesla Solar SA, K2 Systems ZA and Solar DNA and Electrical whose partnership helped turn this vision into reality.
While the solar installation will significantly reduce the shelter's energy costs, the need for support remains. The continue to rely on donations to cover essential expenses such as dog food, veterinary care, rent, and day-to-day operations.
