Winter is making way for something beautiful.

The first blossoms are here, the orchards are turning green and the landscape is beginning to change.

Spring is slowly arriving at Wildekrans, and we’re soaking up every beautiful sign of it. 🌿

What happens when a chef, a wine ambassador and a few great bottles of wine get together around the table? 🍷👨‍🍳

Some very exciting dishes, we hope!

Our Gauteng brand ambassador, Anri, recently caught up with Chef Elias from Southern Sun Katherine Street as our team put their heads together to brainstorm dishes for the 2026 Inter-Hotel Challenge, each one designed to pair beautifully with a Wildekrans wine.

Now the ideas are in Chef Elias and his team’s hands, and we can’t wait to see what they create. Proud to play our part in supporting the talent, creativity and passion shaping the future of South African hospitality.

A very special evening at Island Café, Knysna. 🍷

There’s something rather special about seeing great food and great wine come together — and this dinner was exactly that.

A huge thank you to Chef Greg Coleman and his team for an incredible menu, and to the team at Island Café for hosting us so beautifully. From torched oysters to rich Doornkraal lamb, each course gave our wines something different to say.

We loved being part of this collaboration and sharing the Wildekrans story with the wonderful guests around the table.

Here’s to good food, good wine and evenings worth remembering. 🥂

Wedding Wednesdays are for the grooms too. 🤵‍♂️

Because while the dress, the flowers and all the beautiful details may get plenty of attention, there’s something pretty special about the man of the moment and the men standing beside the groom - the brothers, best friends, fathers and family who help make the day what it is.

The laughs. The nerves. The questionable dance moves. The unwavering support.

And sometimes … quite literally throwing him into the air. 😉

Or all the little details Emma takes care of while helping you plan your dream day.

Today, we just want to take a moment to look at some of the gorgeous couples we’ve been blessed to celebrate with over the past few months.

Because THIS is what makes it all worth it. 🤍

Thank you to every couple who has trusted us with one of the most special days of your lives. It’s an absolute privilege to be part of your story. 🥂🤍

When good people use good wine to do great things. ❤️🍷

Last week, Wildekrans Wine Estate was proud to be part of the Tuli Cattle Breeders Society of SA’s fundraiser in aid of the Lettie Fouché School in Bloemfontein.

For more than 70 years, Lettie Fouché has provided specialised education and support to children with intellectual disabilities, helping them develop their skills, confidence and independence in a safe and nurturing environment. ❤️

With around 140 guests in attendance, our winemaker De Wet Viljoen led a wine tasting, entertaining the room with our wines, his stories and plenty of laughs.

And then came the best part … the event raised an incredible R240,000 for the school! 🙌

The final auction lot, 18 bottles generously donated by Farmers Weekly SA, Wildekrans Wine Estate and Spijker & Bessie Wines, went for a remarkable R80,000.

We love seeing wine bring people together, but even more so when it can help make a meaningful difference in the lives of children. Thank you to everyone who made this wonderful evening possible. We were so proud to be part of it. ❤️
