🚨 SUCCESS REPORT – SUSPECTED STOLEN HOUSEHOLD GOODS RECOVERED 🚨

At approximately 02:47, a report was received from Street Leaders on the CPF Sector 2 group regarding suspicious activity at Astronomy Street.
Response was immediate, and by 02:52 . Austin Bull R3 had arrived on scene along with CPG Security and Spider Security. The property was entered and thoroughly cleared. No suspects were found inside; however, there were clear signs indicating that suspects had recently been on the premises.
While actively patrolling the surrounding area in search of the suspects, I identified three trolleys at the corner of Shamrock and Rietfontein Roads. Upon inspection and searching of the bags within the trolleys, suspected stolen household items were discovered. Backup was immediately requested via the CPF group.
Circinus, CPG Security, and Spider Security arrived shortly thereafter. Three individuals linked to the trolleys were questioned. One individual claimed the items belonged to his staff and stated they had been removed from a residence following a dispute with a landlord.
Approximately 10 minutes later, while continuing proactive patrols along Rietfontein Road, I spotted another 2 suspects pushing a trolley. The individuals was stopped and searched, and similar suspected stolen items were found in his possession. Backup was again requested, with Spider Security and Austin Bull Romeo Mike responding promptly.
Attempts were made to contact SAPS; however, no response was received. Due to the circumstances, all suspects were transported directly to the police station for further processing and investigation.
