s. As a base, a single Guard can be installed, this then communicates to either the portable receiver ( HQ ) or a fixed Receiver and Keypad. Both these options can be interfaced to external devices such as alarm panels, SMS transmitters, lights, sirens etc. Due to the two,widely separated eyes which look out horizontally over the ground, false alarms due to pets and birds is nearly totally eliminated. The individual Guards cover an area of 20 meters at 110 degrees, an area 2 – 3 times what conventional outdoor passives cover, resulting in a cost effective system, with fewer units to maintain. The wireless nature of the Guard means that it is easily installed and moved and is impervious to lightning. The Guard come in three different colours, black, green and white, making them inconspicuous, and difficult for would be intruders to avoid them. Roboguard is a wire-free, state-of-the-art outdoor early warning security system. It offers perimeter protection in a simple, easy to install, and easy to move system. It is not dependent on a cabled power supply, as it works on 8 c-cell batteries, which last 2-5 years. False alarms are minimal, due to two separate PIR’s ( on each unit ) which monitor the same area, and cross-check each-other.
