A suspect was detected by JVR's Off-Site Camera Monitoring Control Room approaching a truck yard and attempting to cut the electric fence.

Our operators immediately dispatched a response team. Realising he had been detected and that help was already on the way, the suspect fled the scene without gaining entry.

🚨 PROACTIVE ARREST 🚨
Possible business robbery prevented.
This week, the vigilance of JVR Protection Services team once again demonstrated the value of proactive security.

While conducting routine patrols, a vigilant JVR Response Officer observed four suspicious individuals loitering near a business premises around closing time. Trusting his instincts and following proper procedures, he immediately informed the JVR Control Room and requested assistance from the Shift Supervisor.

The team discreetly monitored the individuals and, based on reasonable suspicion arising from their behaviour and circumstances, took decisive action. A lawful citizen's arrest was effected, one suspect was found to be in possesion of a firearm, and detained until arrival of SAPS.

The suspect was subsequently handed over to SAPS, who have taken over the investigation and will continue with the necessary legal processes.

Well done to all involved.

🚨 Successful Apprehension – Cable Theft Suspect Arrested 🚨

JVR Protection Services is proud to report another successful operation thanks to the vigilance and teamwork of our personnel.

A security officer on duty in the industrial area heard suspicious activity and immediately alerted our control room. Armed response units were dispatched without delay, and a coordinated search of the area was conducted.

The suspect was located while attempting to flee and was successfully apprehended. All equipment used in the attempted cable theft was recovered on scene. The suspect has been handed over to SAPS for further investigation and processing.

Attempted Diesel Theft Prevented

Following camera activations at a tower site, JVR Protection Services responded immediately.

Our rapid response forced the suspects to flee the scene, preventing the attempted diesel theft. Breaking equipment and containers intended to store the diesel were recovered and handed over to SAP13 in Ekangala.
