I am currently spending long hours almost every day in my business Zan Café because I am setting up systems, once they are in place I will have more freedom to live freely. If you don't want to be chained to your business forever this is your sign to build systems.

Systemizing a business means creating repeatable processes, clear structures, and automation so that the business can run smoothly without relying too much on you. Think of it as building a “machine” that keeps working regardless of whether the founder is directly involved.

When your business is systemized, it:

✓ Runs consistently without chaos.
✓ Can scale (franchises, branches, multiple products).
✓ Becomes attractive to investors and partners.
✓ Gives you freedom (so you work on the business, not in it).

Happy Nelson Mandela Day 🇿🇦

I didn't know Nelson Mandela personally, but something tells me that if he were here in 2025, he’d be passionately advocating for entrepreneurship development.

Because honestly — what better weapon against poverty than entrepreneurship?
It’s how we build solutions, create jobs, and shift the trajectory of communities.

“Like slavery and apartheid, poverty is not natural. It is man-made and it can be overcome and eradicated by the actions of human beings.” — Nelson Mandela

Fire, laptop, phone, and trying to meet deadlines during a cold front 🥶🔥

In my ideal world as an entrepreneur I would work for 3 months and then travel for 3 months and then work for 3 months and then travel for 3 months... Do you know what I mean? 😅

Youth Day always sits heavy on my heart. 💔 It’s a reminder of how fiercely the youth of 1976 fought for change — how they risked everything so we could have access to opportunity, dignity, and freedom.

And yet, here we are… with one of the highest youth unemployment rates in the world.

With the kind of foundation set by the youth of 1976, we should be doing better.

This isn’t just a day for celebration — it’s a day to reflect, to reignite purpose, and to ask ourselves:

1. How can we hold the government of South Africa accountable?
2. How are we honouring their sacrifice with our action?

South Africa’s unemployment rate remains alarmingly high 📉

Official unemployment rate (Q1 2025): 32.9% — up from 31.9% in Q4 2024, with about 8.2 million people unemployed .

**Expanded rate (including discouraged job-seekers): 43.1%** .

Youth (aged 15–34): 46.1% unemployed, marking a significant increase over the past decade .

Why it matters:
High unemployment undermines economic growth, increases social inequality, and fuels brain drain... Simply the unemployment state makes us destructive 💔

What can be done:

1. Fight corruption!!!
2. Real and proper entrepreneurship support — such as initiatives led by Isiba Le Africa.
3. Targeted job creation in growing sectors like transport, finance, utilities.
4. Stronger policy support for B-BBEE, small businesses, and digital startups.
