Automated QA Engineer

Job Summary:

My client is looking for an experienced Automated QA Engineer who is passionate about automated testing and has a solid understanding of Selenium or Cypress. As an Automated QA Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated tests to ensure the quality of their software applications. You will work closely with the development team to identify and resolve issues, and collaborate with other members of the QA team to ensure that their products meet high standards of quality.

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium or Cypress.
Participate in all aspects of the software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and deployment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements and develop test cases that ensure software meets those requirements.
Identify and troubleshoot defects in software applications and work with development teams to resolve issues.
Communicate test results and provide feedback to stakeholders, including developers and product managers.
Stay up to date with emerging trends in automated testing and make recommendations for improvements to their processes and tools.
Ensure that all automated tests are executed regularly, and that results are reported in a timely manner.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
3+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing using Selenium or Cypress.
Strong understanding of test automation frameworks, such as Page Object Model and BDD.
Experience with test management tools like TestRail or Zephyr.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
