A client of mine bought this funky place in Richwood and budgeted for a small renovation.

I was able to guide them on their priorities and potential budget for the job. I always advise getting floors completed before you move in anywhere because of the difficulty in getting them done after. Floors also contribute significantly to the value of a property because of the difficulty and expense involved. Existing terracotta tiles were chopped out for vinyl and I convinced the client to go for exposed trusses in the livingroom and kitchen for some more headroom.

My most recently completed project which I had management on behalf of the Main Contractor is this PnP shopping centre in Eerste River.

This was truly a challenge because a job of this size can only be done with teamwork and communication.

Responsibilities I held on this job are the following:

- Subcontractor and supplier appointment, management and payment certification
- Value claims through the BoQ
- MS Program design, management and monitoring
- Progress reporting to client
- Quality management
- Placing orders from suppliers and management their timelines in conjunction with the project timeline
