We loved hosting ‘s collection at our NFT Storm last year!
Glammy Lee is a Hairdresser and Creative director, who uses an omnidirectional approach to their artistic endeavours.
Hairplay is melding hair and design through both abstract and simple concepts. Pushing limits of what hair, wigs, clubwear, costuming, innovative and functional fashion can be. Motifs of play, with toy like accessories with interactive elements as many pieces have extra features and displays. Each piece tells a different story, blending techniques of hairstyling, mixed medium artwork, up-cycling, technology, sculpture, hair culture/diversity and referencing iconic moments in history and creating some new ones.
The collection will be featured in Fashion Art Toronto's spring/summer showings, then will be put on display in the WIP gallery in Montreal, and will be assisted by a second drop of interactive and immersive wig pieces, hair art, and sculptures. All pieces will be archived and available for rental for shoots ,events and performance, and auctioned off at a later period.
