HD WELLPOINTS has once again demonstrated exceptional service, effectively addressing two client issues concurrently today. Both clients were located in Khayalitsha.

One client experienced a problem with their control valve, which failed to restart the motor upon opening a tap. I subsequently replaced the control valve, and the client's system is now fully operational.

The second client reported an issue with their gate motor, where the gate would intermittently open only halfway or fail to open at all. Despite a recent battery replacement by a previous company, the problem persisted. I proceeded to replace the entire unit, and the system is now functioning optimally.

Our client, located in Khayelitsha, has experienced persistent issues with their wellpoint system. Despite engaging three previous companies, the problems remained unresolved, with the client reporting unsatisfactory outcomes from prior service providers. The most recent company installed a new wellpoint system, advising the client that the existing installations were non-functional and required a complete overhaul. However, the issues persisted even after this new installation.

Upon my arrival, I conducted a thorough assessment, including various checks and tests. My findings revealed several critical deficiencies:
- The pump exhibited a significant bearing noise.
- The installed piping is 20mm irrigation piping, which is unsuitable for a wellpoint application.
- Two of the drilled holes are 20mm in diameter, while the third is 25mm.
- The current wellpoint is approximately 4 meters deep, whereas the 25mm piped hole extends to about 6 meters.
- The pump in use is a 0.45kw model, which is typically employed as a booster pump for Jojo tanks and is not appropriate for a wellpoint system.

Despite these findings, I proceeded to connect my test pump to the system. While water was drawn, the pressure was notably weak. I then tested the other hole, which featured the 25mm piping, and observed significantly stronger pressure, contrary to previous assertions made to the client that this hole was non-functional.

We successfully addressed two client needs simultaneously. One client, located in the Malibu area of Eersteriver, had an existing wellpoint installed by another company that was underperforming, exhibiting weak and intermittent water pressure. We subsequently drilled a new well, and the client is highly satisfied with the significantly improved water pressure. The second client, situated in the Bellville South area, experienced a pump theft two days prior. We promptly installed a replacement pump to meet their immediate requirements.
