Some days we pause and realise just how blessed we truly are. ✹

Over the past few months, guests at Little Villa have described their stays with words like:

What started as a vision for a beautiful coastal escape has slowly become a place where families reconnect, friends gather around the firepit, pets run freely in the garden, and strangers arrive as guests but leave with memories attached to this home.

Hi, I’m Nicolette Vorster đŸ‘‹đŸŒ

Co-owner of Ideas Cartel, which I’ve been building alongside my husband since 2014 — growing from a single space in 2013 into a collection of places designed for how we live, work, and connect today.

What we’ve created has evolved into more than just one thing

From Ideas Cartel workspaces and our Claremont co-working hub,
to The Old Foundry Hotel in Green Point,
STOEP in Kalk Bay,
Sonnekus in St James,
and Little Villa in Hermanus.

Each space has its own personality — but they all share the same intention: to create environments that feel considered, inspiring, and easy to step into.

The journey hasn’t been linear.
There have been moments of growth, pressure, reinvention — and a lot of learning along the way.

But that’s the beauty of building something real
 you evolve with it.

I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created — and even more excited about what’s still to come.

A very special offering which the owners, Nicolette and Schuyler have decided to merge into the boutique hotel offering in Kalk Bay. A space that they originally intended to keep for themselves — the Owner’s Cottage at STOEP.

But they realised something: it’s far too special not to share.
