During routine TRT patrols in the Soneike area, our Tactical Response Team identified a concerning increase in house break-in incidents within specific hotspot streets.
๐ PROACTIVE ACTION TAKEN
Instead of vehicle-only patrols, our TRT members parked the vehicle and deployed on foot patrols in known high-risk streets where break-ins frequently occur.
The team split up deliberately to avoid drawing attention and to remain tactical and observant.
๐ SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY OBSERVED
While patrolling Van Bruggen Street, Soneike, one TRT member noticed two unknown individuals approaching.
Upon spotting the officer, the suspects dropped the items they were carrying and attempted to jump over nearby walls to escape.
โ ๏ธ PHYSICAL CONFRONTATION
One suspect was caught and engaged by the TRT member
The second suspect joined the altercation, attempting to overpower the officer
The second TRT member arrived immediately to assist
Despite a strong response, both suspects managed to flee by jumping multiple walls.

SUCCESSFUL RECOVERY
