What an amazing journey I have had in this crazy industry.
This is not a job. It is the joy of doing hair that pays.
One of the absolute strengths behind and my success is the power of and the people who work there.

I am so honored to be judging .wella.sa pwith an amazing bunch of judges and the incredible stylists.

The most rewarding thing about RWS is bringing value.
This brings me to salon No 4.
The value of relationships out ways all.
I spent just over a year with Joanne of after we had worked together for years at .
So I had the benefit and luxury of already knowing her personally.
We get into hairdressing so we can be ourselves, be creative and make a living.
In that order.
Sometimes this changes along the way. I pray we can all fight to keep that order.
Ochre to me was a true example of a salon built around the stylist.
The client will always be happy if the stylist is happy. It's the flow of creativity through to a great result.
Joanne's work ethic has always been high. Her creativity while elegant and luxurious always has a wonderful hint of herself hidden in there.
It's hard to determine but her eye is so detailed that you need to listen as well as look.
There is always something extra in the detail.
Joanne well done on achieving what always seems unachievable.
You are a hero to me.

The biggest criticism of your work should always come from you. A challenge is always something you should give to yourself.
You're not gonna please everyone, but make sure you are happy with your own result.
Your result depends on
1 Your education
2 Your consultation through engagement
3 Your timing
4 Your performance
5 Your maintenence plan
6 Your ability to finish.
All of the above require communication and assessment from both you and your client.
Have the hard chat with yourseves.
