What an unforgettable day at , curated by Areté Consultancy House for Tekano Health Equity in South Africa ! 🎉

The event kicked off with a vibrant welcome from the iconic Cape Town Minstrels, setting an energetic tone. We were then moved by captivating performances from Soundz of the South and the soulful Ncebakazi and her band, filling the space with powerful artistry. The decor specialist captured the spirit of the event to a T.

A thought-provoking dialogue on accountability and trust sparked meaningful conversations that resonated deeply with everyone present. Guests also enjoyed exquisite catering that perfectly complemented the celebration.

Beyond the Meeting

Facilitating a strategy session with a team necessitates meticulous planning and ex*****on to ensure effective collaboration and the generation of actionable insights among participants. Our director, Johnlyn Tromp van Reenen, recently facilitated a 3-day Retreat on Economic Justice and Climate. Areté Consultancy House coordinated the logistical aspects for the global team.

Beluga Restaurant Cape Town: Renowned for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse menu, Beluga offers an array of dishes catering to various tastes. Located at the Waterfront (dock), the restaurant provides stunning views, rendering it an ideal setting for relaxation following a day of strategic planning.

GOLD Restaurant: Gold Restaurant offers an immersive African dining experience featuring a 14-dish taste safari, accompanied by traditional entertainment. Guests participated in interactive drumming sessions prior to their meal, fostering a sense of community and cultural appreciation.

Babylonstoren Farm: The Spice House at Babylonstoren emphasizes a farm-to-fork philosophy, utilizing seasonal ingredients sourced from their gardens. Wine tasting is available at any time of day.

Areté Consultancy House travelled to Masvingo, Zimbabwe to coordinate and manage logistics for the UKAMA USTAWI SHAREFAIR event which was held from 13-15 March 2024. The brief by the client was that it should be an “un-conferenced conference”

Our services included:
• Program design, briefing of facilitators and implementation of program
• Ensuring activations for active engagement by farmers, extension workers, researchers and scientists
• Travel logistics, including air travel, ground travel and transfers
• Procurement and vetting of all suppliers
• Entertainment and arts and culture components
• Branding and graphic design of event
