Job Details
- The project manager acts as the liaison between the client and the development team. He implements the process with flexibility and manages clients’ expectations. We typically manage projects within the Scrum framework and use Kanban to manage support and maintenance contracts.
- You will work for two to three clients concurrently. When managing a project, your responsibilities will typically include the ones of a Product Owner:
- Eliciting the requirements from the client and documenting them if required;
- Defining the releases & sprints objective with the client;
- Facilitating story writing workshops to distill requirements into deliverable user stories;
- Refining the product backlog items just-in-time, providing acceptance criteria and creating process flow diagrams or wireframes when necessary;
- Supporting the development team by ensuring that the requirements are always clear;
- Ensuring quality of delivery is acceptable from the client and end-users' point of view. A software tester is available to assist when necessary.
- We are typically retained to provide ongoing support and maintenance. You will then be expected to:
- Clarify and log requests;
- Plan the work in accordance with the service level agreement as well as the developers' skills and availability;
- Manage client's expectations and deadlines.
- Candidate Requirements
- Business Analysis qualification and/or Product Owner certification preferred
- Experience in Software Development as a Product Owner, - Scrum Master, Project Manager, Business Analyst, Tester or Developer
- Understanding of the Agile principles, Scrum and Kanban. - Ability to adapt the process to the projects’ specificities.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good writing skills
- Analytical thinking and attention to details
- Candidate must be highly organised and dependable
