And the winner is….



Congrats on the new set of twins. Bryan chose option B for the colour way, and will be getting a set of those Aloia Twins. Bryan was one of 33 that voted for option B. Bested by option A which received a total of 36 votes. An almost 50/50 split on the colour-way votes with a few commenters voting for both A & B. So considering that I would be disappointing nearly half of you no matter what choice I make, Ive decided to offer both A & B colour-ways as stock. I’ll be building out some stock in the next week. The Aloia Twins are available for pre-order through the online store so if you’re eager to get your name on the first sets, head over to goodforyoufinco.com and pre order some. A few weeks ago, and I did a cool thing. We merged the fin and wine world with a collaboration based around an epic artwork done by . The idea was to bring friends together to celebrate local craft in an evening of drinking wine chatting fins, boards and all other things surf related. We screen printed some labels, made some fins and printed some tees with this special, craft-bonding graphic.

Shortly after this time, Dan and his family faced some very challenging news. Rosie, their daughter, was diagnosed with cancer. Dan and his family now face a long and costly medical treatment ahead. We want to do what we can to help Rosie and her family, so we will be donating a portion of the profits from our collaboration tees. If you bought a tee on the night of the event, your contribution has already been made. The tees are uploaded onto our online store at goodforyoufinco.com and can be purchased through the online store directly.

Riding a single-fin shortboard a is a trip. Compared to how one would surf a HP shortboard or twin, the lines that you draw on one of these single-finned surfboards is a breath of fresh air. It can be a challenge to overcome the old habits of where/how you turn the board, but the rewards are oh so sweet.

This is a second iteration Dower 6’7” paired with a clean curved 7.75” single fin. Aiming for smooth, clean lines on the waves face and deep, drawing bottom turns below it. Feelings that have me hooked.
