This is Josh from DESTROYER.
Josh and I have been working on this set of thrusters since 2024, and they’re finally ready to drop.

The Destroyer Thruster is a neutral template with a slightly smaller centre fin to give you a little more pivot and release without sacrificing drive.

Each set is made from layered fibreglass, CNC cut, then hand-foiled to finish.

A set of fins developed by local surf brands with local surfers tested in local waves.

Stoked to finally get these under your feet. ❤️‍🔥

SPICE THRUSTER. Released and available at Kommetjie Surf Shop . This is a performance thruster with medium flex for predictable performance and a raked template for control. Stoked to have these out in the world ❤️‍🔥

After foiling with first a hard pad then a soft pad, I use this hand block and 80grit sandpaper to take away any ridges or foil imperfections. Although I try to get most of the foiling work done with the sander, this hand work is still a grind. But some good tunes help to get the body moving. These three Atra 9.5” single fins are from this afternoons workshop session, post surf of course.
